Just finished ‘A Tale of Love and Darkness’ by Amos Oz. Given the subject matter and what he had said before about the phoney romantic attraction of suicide, I didn’t expect such a lyrical ending.

Well, the most recent unexpected book for me was Catching Fire. I’m not sure what I expected, but it wasn’t that. In a good way, of course.
